Just purchased this steam mop this morning from a nearby retailer. I went to invest in a Eureka Enviro-steam, but there was only this model and a Shark. After reading reviews on Shark, I went with the BD given that I have other items and tools of theirs.
Considering that it was my 1st time applying it, I believed that I would give my very first impression of it. Out of the box, quite straightforward assembly, and clear precise directions. CON: HARDWOOD FLOORS:
The bona mop does a superior job on hardwood floors. My bathrooms are tile. And this did a excellent job cleaning the tiles. It was fast and quick and not a hassle to use. I will not use it on the hardwoods though.
Exciting Believed not Yet tested:
I wonder how this would be in my big garden (fiberglass) tub, my significant marble shower, or even my common size fiberglass tubs. I have 2 tubs that do not get employed, but i have to still wipe out just since they get dusty. and it is a discomfort--specially because a single is a garden tub and rather significant. So i got the idea now, that it may be worth trying this and see how it works. But alas, i am too tired from my other experiments to attempt this appropriate now. I will come back and update later.
Overall:
This steam mop is substantially improved than the steam mops that came out a few years ago. If you like steam mopping, i believe this is outstanding. If you have tile floors it is primarily wonderful. If you have hardwood floors, the bona mopping method is, hands down, superior. it cleans less complicated, gets up dirt spots improved and does a excellent job. With that mentioned--we now have two totally different mops in the house. Bona for the hardwood and This a single for tile. And they will each be place to typical use.

UPDATE 9/9/11--soon after a few months of use, we are not as pleased as in the beginning. We are nevertheless making use of it, however, the design is not as fine as on some other units.
