There employed to be a model of this fan that was near ideal. It was the HT-800 and I have 3 of them because I adore having them in several rooms in the summer. That great model seems to have been replaced with this model which is much less powerful. The much less potent part is OK, I can just turn the speed up on it (I normally made use of the first setting on the HT-800--that sucker was strong!l). The portion they honestly screwed up, although, is the base. They inexplicably cut away components of it in the front and the back so now, as an alternative of getting solid and sturdy feeling, it's flimsy feeling and best heavy and falls more than or points upward each time you touch it.
